Beauty Round-Up – Concealer
Concealer has always been a beauty kit staple thanks to it’s ability to cover various blemishes from spots to uneven skintone. But lately it has more been favoured for its ability to brighten and highlight the face. Here are our favourite concealers to suit all budgets. Get experiementing.
L’Oreal True Match Concealer way out performs it’s price tag. It brightens the skin, covers any dark circles under the eyes or blemishes on the skin and it lasts all day. Easily blendable, it gives it’s best results when used with a damp beauty blender.
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer completely lives up to its name as it’s one of the most long wearing concealers we’ve come across. It can be a little tricky as it really doesn’t move once it dries, again blend with a damp beauty blender until you are completely happy and then set it with a transparent setting powder.
Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage – With two tones in the palette, you can customise the colour to meet your exact needs. This oil-free concealer is perfect for under the eyes and covering up any blemishes. Apply with warm fingertips and blend, blend, blend. The only drawback is that it does tend to crease easily under the eyes, use a setting powder to prevent this.
