Hottest Hair According To New York Fashion Week
New York Fashion Week for Autumn/Winter 2016 is coming to an end, leaving a Kanye West shaped hole in it’s wake. Although the rants of Mr West are still polluting our newsfeeds, everyone is starting to turn their attention towards London.
With New York Fashion Week finishing on Thursday, and London Fashion Week starting on Friday, we don’t have much time to digest The Big Apple’s biggest trends.
We saw 4 main trends in the city that never sleeps this spring.
- Up-Do – The up-do reigned supreme, which is good news if you hate your hair being in your face. Styles this season are softer and more dishevelled, think romantic, soft and low maintenance.

- Plaits – Plaits. Are. Everywhere. This plaits of the moment are sleek and tight, but we also saw some more touseled styles. Fishtail plaits and undone braids made an appearance at Rebecca Minkoff as well as backstage.

- Texture – There were countless textured styles this week, with from 70s waves at DVF to bed head at Marc Jacobs.

- Natural – Catwalk styles weren’t sleek or ironed flat. We saw plenty of air dried hair and embracing of the natural hair texture so give the straightners a break and let your waves fly free!
